Weird Fantasy picked up the numbering sequence of EC's Pre-Trend Moon Girl series (with all its various title changes). Weird Fantasy was published bi-monthly along with its sister magazine Weird Science from May 1950 to Dec. 1953. Although favorites of the staff, sales on the two books were slow compared to the Horror titles. Therefore, it was decided to combine the two Sci-Fi titles into one book, Weird Science-Fantasy, with issue # 23.
